The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E) provides Acute and Community services across Exeter and East Devon serving a population of more than 450,000 people. Exeter Occupational Health Service is looking for a Band 7 Occupational Health Senior Nurse Adviser

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced motivated leader wishing to manage and develop a team of Occupational Health Nurses. Are you looking for a new challenge?

As a SCPHN qualified practitioner, you will have the responsibility of combining hands on delivery of our exceptional services and making significant contributions to the development of the Occupational Health Department. Experience of managing a team is essential.

The SEQOHS accredited Occupational Health Service at Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust provides an excellent service to all employees in the Trust and also to a large number of external clients. The service operates across a variety of sites therefore some travel may be required and flexibility regarding hours, with occasional 7am '" 7pm clinics.

We provide impartial, independent advice to both employees and managers on workplace health and play an active role in supporting the Trust with the management of sickness absence. Support services include an in house confidential counseling services, physiotherapy advice, health surveillance, work related vaccination programmes, follow up of inoculations injuries and health promotion and education campaigns including the annual staff flu vaccination campaign for healthcare workers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual who is able to facilitate, monitor and develop provision of a range of Occupational Health Services to the Trust and our external customer base. The role is diverse and excellent communicate skills, organizational skills and a positive approach are pre requisites to this role.
